SHARON STITLER

Since 1997, Sharon has succeeded in her mission to get paid to go birding. She now travels the world as a field trip leader, birding consultant, humorous keynote speaker, bird field technician, bird bander (ringer) and writer.

Speaking of writing, she has written several books including Disapproving Rabbits, City Birds/Country Birds and 1001 Secrets Every Birder Should Know. She’s number 32 in the Geek A week Trading Card set and works as a National Park Ranger for the Mississippi National River and Recreational Area. She also appears regularly on TV and radio answering birdy questions.

When not digiscoping or performing improv she is a blue ribbon beekeeper.

It should be a very interesting conversation!
