Britain in 72 seasons
Lev is a birdwatcher, conductor and author of Why Do Birds Suddenly Disappear? and Into the Tangled Bank. He lives in West London with his family, who are getting used to his increasing enthusiasm for nature. As a birdwatcher, his most prized sightings are a Golden Oriole in the Alpujarras, Spain and a Black Redstart at Dungeness Power Station, England.
In his latest book, Light Rains Sometimes Fall, he looks at a British year through Japan’s 72 Seasons.
