Staring into the multiple eyes of Britain’s spiders!
Laurence is an ecological consultant and educator. He has gained considerable knowledge of British natural history through his professional career as a countryside ranger and as an environmental studies officer.
He is an all-round field naturalist with a particular expert knowledge of British spiders. He authored the Field Studies Council Guide to House and Garden Spiders and is lead author of the recently published 2nd edition of Britain’s Spiders – a field guide. He regularly gives lectures and tutors identification training courses on British spiders.
