Located in the Cairngorms, one of the most beautiful regions of the Scottish Highlands, in the fine Scottish country town of Grantown on Spey in the Cairngorm National Park, lies the handsome stone-built Grant Arms Hotel.

The Grant Arms Hotel offers 50 en-suite bedrooms all with tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, hair dryer, colour TV, direct dial phone and free WiFi.

There are two Four Poster Rooms (one of which is Queen Victoria’s), Twin, Double, Single or Family Rooms and three enabled rooms for disabled guests. All facilities in the Grant Arms Hotel are wheelchair accessible.

On arrival guests will find the Club’s monthly newspaper The Watcher in their bedroom, alongside wildlife magazines and a copy of the BWWC Map, which lists 50 different wildlife watching sites in the Cairngorms and Northeast Scotland area.

Bird Watching and Wildlife

The hotel is home to the Bird Watching and Wildlife Club where David Lindo is a regular guest guide and is ideally placed to provide truly outstanding wildlife breaks.

The Bird Watching and Wildlife Club exists for anyone interested in wildlife, from individuals who come armed with a scope and a list of ‘must see’ species, to those who wish to enjoy a good walk with the chance of seeing some wildlife along the way.
