Shipping & Delivery
A standard post and packaging charge of £4.50 is payable on all orders below the value of £30.00 on this website, any orders over this value will be posted free of charge.
For next working day delivery we use DPD 24hr service and for smaller items we use Royal Mail.
Our postage prices apply only to UK, BFPO and Channel Island addresses.
We do not deliver to P.O. boxes.
Delivery within mainland UK is normally within 24 hours of receipt of your order, however, please allow five working days before querying a non-delivery.
Delivery to Northern Ireland and UK offshore islands may take longer.
We’re sorry, we can only deliver to destinations of UK. For deliveries to EU countries, please contact our Customer Care team who will be able to advise you, where delivery is possible, about the cost and estimated delivery time. Contact us at: store@theurbanbirderworld.com.
In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and dispatch it as soon as it arrives.
Most orders will be delivered by courier between 9 am and 5 pm. If you are unlikely to be in to sign for the parcel, please specify an alternate delivery address where a signature can be made.

On-going delivery disruption due to COVID-19:
Please note due to lockdown and high volumes Royal Mail are experiencing some delays and therefore we cannot currently guarantee delivery dates.
- • UK – Due to increased demand and local lockdowns, Royal Mail delivery times have been extended. Please allow up to 7 working days for standard delivery.

Warranty & Repairs
Your confirmation of order email acts as a proof of purchase in relation to under warranty repairs. Please check each product specification for information on their guarantee/ warrranty. Should you need to return the product for an under warranty repair, returns should be made directly back to the manufacturer. Please ensure that you package the binoculars safely and send them securely. The Urban Birder Ltd are not liable for any increased postage incurred for warranty repairs.
Returns
Should you decide to return your item, you may do so within 14 days for a full refund (excluding any postage costs). The Urban Birder Ltd are not liable for the cost of any returns, it is up to you to ensure the safe return of the item, therefore we recommend you use a signed for service.
If you are requesting an exchange of product (for reasons other than an error by us) then we reserve the right to charge you an additional delivery cost.
