How do we actually experience the natural world?
Lev is a birdwatcher, conductor and author of Why Do Birds Suddenly Disappear? He lives in West London with his family, who are getting used to his increasing enthusiasm for nature. As a birdwatcher, his most prized sightings are a Golden Oriole in the Alpujarras and a Black Redstart at Dungeness Power Station.
He asks many questions within his new book Into The Tangled Bank including; do TV wildlife programmes give us a love and understanding for nature, or unrealistic expectations?
