Birds On My Mind Book
A collection of photos by David Lindo
Foreword by Mark Carwardine
Birds are amazing things to behold. They mean so many different things to different people at differing times.
During my travels around the world I have been fortunate enough to see an incredible array of species in some fabulous (and not so fabulous) settings. I have seen Northern Wheatears at Wormwood Scrubs, my beloved West London patch and Gentoo Penguins on the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. I have crossed a lot of rivers and seen a lot land in between.
Within the pages of my new book – Birds On My Mind – I would like to share with you some of the images I have taken of the birds I have encountered. This is not a how-to guide but more of a celebration of birds. My style of photography is to take snapshots – shooting from the hip. I want this collection of photos to inspire you to get out there and document your own birding adventures.
I hope that you will enjoy the images of the birds that were special to me: The Birds On My Mind.
Keep looking up!
